Had a cordless phone that always killed any wireless connectivity. It bled all over the 2.4 range. Swapped it for a newer one that was tighter to a single channel. Worked great with WAP which has Wii, 2 laptops and 3 phones attached with WiFi.

Good thing the Internet doesn't rely on RIP. Many of my tracert to Google, MS, Yahoo take 18 hops. I'd be SOL with RIP with 15 hops.

Thanks a million Professor Messer. I passed the Network+ exam with 850/900. Your videos made it clear and I understood better what people were talking about than watching the Brand X videos and taking pages and pages of notes and saying, "What?"

Thanks Professor Messer! I purchased the LK videos, I was about 25% through them and ran across your more mature and to the point videos. Bummer. I never even looked at the LK cds again. Just passed 701/702 this weekend with a 811/814 score. Thank you very much.

Both 802.11a and 802.11b were ratified at the same time. The complexities associated with manufacturing products using the higher frequencies of 802.11a took longer to get products into customer's hands, but the standards were released together.
